Gorkha Municipality has inagurated CCTV, Water Fountain and Free Wifi. The presenties were DCC chief, Mayor, Deputy Mayor and other staffs as well as other journalists. CCTV installation was accomplished in main streets of Gorkha Municipality with total of 39 cameras. In which, 35 are fixed starlight and 4 PTZ cameras. With the budget of total 21 lakhs, the project is said to be inagurated and is effective.

Gorkha Municipality has inagurated Water Fountain in order to foster tourism. The net worth of the programme was 11 lakhs.

Gorkha Municipality has planned to provide free internet service to municipal residents in historical and important places Gorkha Museum, Gorkha Durbar, Paschhimkali, Children Park, Bhimsen Park, Old Bus Park and Loktantrik Chowk. Likewise, it has inagurated free wifi from Gorkha Museum.
