Gorkha Municipality has successfully completed it's first ever Gorkha Mayor Cup 2075. The programme was chaired by Mayor Rajan Raj Panta. The chief guest of the program was Surendra Pandey and guest were Prakash Chandra Dawadi, Mankumari Gurung and Harisharan Acharya. The final game was between Ward 6 and Ward 13. Ward 6 scored 3 goals while ward 13 scored 1 goal and ward 6 became the first ever champion of first mayor cup 2075. Ward no. 6 Silan Thapa was awarded best keeper, Ward 6 Bishal Gurung was awarded best defender, Ward 6 Jamir Maskey was awarded best striker, Ward 13 Laxman Pariyar was awarded high scorer and ward 13 Bibek Gurung was awarded best player of the tournament.
